Ahoy! Methinks I see even more new land!

Arrrr, rare it be to witness the birth of a new island among a chain of forums! I set my foot on this space and bury this topic into the heart of the forum.

Anyways...

Anyone recommend any really good, short anime? ArchZeratul doesn't count because he already suggested 5

If your suggestion corresponds with his or another person's, I'll consider watching it.

Here are a few rules before I will totally consider your posts:

1) No shonen

2) No shonen, seriously

3) Come on guys, no shonen

4) Preferably a short series. I watched Melancholy of Haruhi S, which was like 15 episodes. It was pretty interesting, though 1 episode was terribly boring.

5) Story doesn't really matter, but it should preferably not be something with an inane ending like Akira. Or even Mononoke for that matter (which now I have forgotten...). In other words, no endings that mean nothing overall or that reveal the character was just dreaming.

Yeeeeah....that should cover it...
